I am Jacob Kottwitz. All my life I've lived in Bland. Therefore, I have always went to the Maries R2 School District... the same as the students in the class I am cadeting in. In my family, I have a mom, dad, and older brother. It is quite the nice family I have. I drive a Dodge diesel. My favorite color is red, but my truck is white.
On my spare time I enjoy hunting and farming. I like to have a personality that everyone can enjoy and makes people happy. I want to be a cadet teachers because as a senior it is hard to look back an remember the things I did in kindergarten, so cadeting gives me an idea of what it was like in kindergarten and how different it is from all the other years in school. My expectations of a good student are someone who actually tries and doesnt complain about assignments. Someone who gets good attendance would be a good student because it shows that they want to learn. A hard worker is a good student beacause being able to do your best is good.
A good teacher would be someone who actually cares about the students and not just about the money. Also, they need to help the students whenever they need it.
I would like to graduate my senior year with the kids I have grown up with. Then, go to Linn Technical College and pursue my goal of being a diesel mechanic and a heavy equipment operater. To accomplish these goals I must put forth all the effort I have to study and do well. I must study hard in highschool and then do the same once in college.
I am cadeting for Mrs. Sonya Hance during my 2nd hour. Mrs. Hance teaches Kindergarten. She has 17 kids in her class. Mrs. Hance is a fun teacher and her kids love her!

They paint pictures to take home and put on the tree if they want and they work very hard to learn poems about christmas so they can read them to their famiy on chritsmas. They watched a movie about christmas after they made their snowmen and learned songs in spanish that some high schoolers tried teaching them also.
Week 13-14
We are still learning the alphabet. Working on worksheets everyday. They all had to go to a craftshow some of this week. Some of the kids started counting to 100 on their own and coloring worksheets for christmas. They read little books to me to show me how they can read on their own and they keep up on their calenders.
Week 11-12
We are still working on the aphabet. But we are working on painting a turkey for thanksgiving now out of paper plates. They have to paint them on their own and we help them glue them together. They color alot of worksheets that have to do with thanksgiving and turkeys. They learned and Lewis and Cark sailed across the ocean and they learned all about thanksgiving.
Week 9-10
We are currently still on the alphabet and working very hard on them everyday to get them down very good. The beginning of everyday they keep up to date on the calender and count how many days they have been in school and learn how to count when they do it. They are getting good at counting by 1s,5s and 10s. They can count on the own by 5s and 10s.

We are still working on the alphabet everyday and practing them to learn them well. We also learn 2 or 3 words every other day or so and they do 2 worksheets on them and they have to cut out the letters and put them in order to spell them right. They seem to learn them better when they have to cut them out and put them in order to spel them.

Week 3-4
We are still working on the letters of the alphabet. We are using the same procedures as week 1-2. The kids still seem to be having fun with this. I think drawing the pictures is the thing they like the most.
Week 1-2
The class is learning the alphabet. Every other day they learn a new letter. We practice by tracing the letter and repeatidly writing the letter, and also drawing pictures of something that started with the alphabet letter. I made books that started with the letter that they learned and they read them throughout the class. Most of the class seemed excited to learn and were having a lot of fun.
